This is my first time dealing with allergies in a child. I must say, I do not care for it. I am glad she doesn’t have a disgusting stream of snot pouring out of her nose like so many children do, but the wracking cough is wearing everyone down.
Here we see the results of our first dose of allergy medicine (OTC, generic Benadryl). I was sitting next to her, she was awake. I got up, went to the porch, brought in a package, and sat back down. She was out. Pitiful.
We have the humidifier running constantly and we’ve tried every natural remedy and every OTC product I could find, all to no avail. I suppose we just have to wait out the changes in the air.

I suffer from allergies and so do both my children. I personally haven’t found away around it with my kids and my son – he’s a bugger flying runny nose kinda kid.
The funny thing, it effects them more durring the morning and night – so getting up and going to bed is rough, but durring the day, their pretty much ok.

Be glad it’s not the damn dreaded allergy.
Feel better, Little Miss!

Allergies suck! Poor thing! Are you going to have her allergy tested? Even seasonal allergies can be accompanied by sudden food allergies. I started out with just seasonal allergies and it has branched out into watermelon, banana, and acetamenophin allergies. Yay!
I hope she feels better soon!

Aw, she looks so pathetic. I hope she’s better now.
Georgie is at this moment flying high on Benadryl. She is flying around the house like a madwomen, and I really don’t see that her faucet of a nose has gotten any better.
